
The International Test Conference offers design and test professionals the opportunity to present original, unpublished work in the field of Electronic Design and Test.
· Scope:
Your paper must fall within the scope of ITC as outlined in the Call for Papers.
· Title:
Select a succinct yet unique title for your work that expresses the essence of
the paper and its contribution. Try to restrict the title to one line of 60 or
fewer characters (absolute maximum is 160 characters).
· Authors
and Affiliation: List name,
affiliation at the time the work was conducted, mailing address, e-mail
address, phone and fax number for each author.
· Abstract:
Write an abstract of about 35 words to summarize your paper and its unique
contribution. This abstract will appear in the Advance Program if your paper is
selected for presentation.
· Topic:
Select the topic(s) which most closely fits the main subject matter of your
paper from the topic list. If there is no topic which seems appropriate, then
your paper may not fall within the scope of ITC. If you feel it is within ITC
scope, however, and no topic appears quite right, enter a new suggested topic
in the space provided.
· Content:
Begin your paper with an introduction that provides some basic definitions,
motivation for the work and an overview of the organization of the paper. Then
partition the presentation into four or five sections to help the reader
understand what you are trying to say. In the final section, give your
conclusions so that the reader will grasp the significance of the work. Extended summaries are acceptable for
initial submission. However, these summaries should cover the above-described
material.
· Length:
You may submit a complete paper of 10 pages maximum, or an extended summary of
from four to six pages. Submissions of less than four pages are rarely
accepted.
· Novelty:
Submissions must describe original, unpublished work. Submissions must not
be simultaneously submitted to or accepted by another conference or
publication.
· Page numbers: Please include page numbers on your submission. Reviewers really appreciate it!
· References:
List references in the order in which they are cited in the text. References
should follow the standard IEEE format. Identify the key references on which
your work is based, even if you are submitting an extended summary.
· File format: Electronic submission of a PDF or Word file of the entire submission including figures is required since it will speed the review process. PDF is preferred.
· Publishing and Presentation: Once your paper is accepted for
presentation at the International Test Conference, you will be asked to prepare a
publishable manuscript and a presentation based upon it. Then, take enough time
to rehearse your presentation in preparation for the big day.
· Copyright Form: All clearances for
publication must be obtained by the author(s). Assignment of the copyright to
the IEEE may be done via electronic means via the ITC author website or if this
fails via the IEEE Copyright form with original signature(s) submitted. You
need not submit assign the copyright for your paper until your paper
has been accepted for presentation at the Conference.
